Sports lovers — here’s your chance to meet Cedric Maxwell of the Boston Celtics and Patrick Pass of the New England Patriots (and enjoy some ‘za with them, too). Eataly Boston is hosting the athletes on Wednesday, September 26th for an epic cookoff between the pros. Former New England Patriots player Jarvis Green will be the evening’s commentator of this pizza-making showdown, while guests vote for their favorite pie. There’ll be photo opps with each of the stars, and you might want to snag a copy of the Cooking with the Pros (which will be on sale, on-site) to have yours signed.

Tickets are $50 per person and include a welcome wine, a paired beverage with your meal (take your pick between a second wine or a beer), a special chef’s choice of antipasto and each of the contender’s pizzas. This is a family-friendly event, so bring the kiddos — they’ll receive complimentary gelato and Italian sodas instead of the alcoholic offerings. A portion of proceeds will go to each athlete’s charity of choice: Dorian J Murray Foundation, selected by Patrick Pass, and the NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) selected by Cedric Maxwell.
