Decades of Decadence

Saturday, September 7th marks the return – for the 25th year – of the Langham Hotel’s indulgent Chocolate Bar buffet. Pick a Saturday afternoon between now and the end of June to enjoy the over-the-top, all-you-can-eat homage to all things chocolate. Executive Chef Mark Sapienza and newly-appointed pastry chef Ryan Pike have gone all out for the 25th anniversary with a Decades of Decadence theme that highlights the most popular desserts from twenty-five seasons. More than 200 pounds of chocolate (per week) go in to creating the seemingly endless array of truffles, brûlées, bread pudding, whoopie pies, cupcakes, crepes and cocktails (yes, there’s a list of cocoa-y beverages for the 21+ set). So maybe skip breakfast before hitting the buffet, which is available from 11:00am-3:00pm for $42 per person ($29 for children ages 5-12). Call 617.451.1900 for reservations and more info.
