Mark Your Calendars for Mates with Plates

For the inaugural Mates with Plates dinner series Sam Jackson welcomes his friends from Pennypacker’s Food Truck to KO Pies’ East Boston outpost for a pop-up dinner. Make a reservation at either of two seatings (6:15 or 8:45) on Tuesday, December 11th to sit down to four courses from Pennypacker’s chef and proprietor Ryan McGuire, whose two gourmet sandwich trucks have been delighting midday diners in the Seaport and Brookline. The menu, each course of which comes accompanied by brews from Harpoon, is priced at $60 per person. Reservations are available at KO or at either of the trucks. First Course:
Celery Root Soup with pickled apples, pancetta, and celery leaves
paired with Harpoon Cider

Second Course:
Beet Salad with chevre, herbs, fresh horseradish and honey vinaigrette
paired with UFO White

Third Course:
Rack of Lamb with sweet potato rosti, turnip puree, spicy sautéed kale, cranberry ale pan sauce
paired with Harpoon Grateful Harvest Cranberry Ale

Fourth Course:
Chocolate Bread Pudding with coffee porter sorbet
paired with 100 Barrel Series #44 El Triunfo Coffee
