It may be heating up outside, but things are getting chilly in the Back Bay. Award-winning tech-savvy bartender Todd Maul is teaming up with the Cusser’s Roast Beef & Seafood crew for LTD Bar at Cusser’s. Longtime Boston imbibers may recognize Maul’s name from classics like Clio and Cafe Artscience, and he hasn’t wavered in his science-y approach to drink-making. At Cusser’s, he’s employing high tech gadgets like a blast freezer, a centrifuge and a Snap-Chiller, a very fancy (and exceedingly rare) gizmo that lowers liquids to sub-zero temps in mere seconds – just in time for the summer cocktail scene. Check out the startender’s one-of-a-kind offerings featuring flavors like papaya, fassionola and coconut butter. Maul is behind the stick whipping up drinks Wednesdays through Saturdays from 4:00pm to close.
