Race day is on its way! Whether you’re looking for a prime spot for carbo-loading ahead of time or patio seats for watching and cheering-on the runners, some of your favorite restaurants are rolling out Marathon Monday specials — heaping bowls of pasta for the night before or croque monsieurs and bubbles day-of — to help you get into the spirit of the day. Consult the collection below to find the one that suits your Marathon Monday game plan.

Bambara
Be sure to get a seat at Bambara‘s pre-race all-you-can-eat-pasta evening on Sunday, October 10th from 5:00-9:00pm. For $26 per person, you can fuel up with housemade pastas like bucatini (with puttanesca sauce, braised greens and pecorino) and fusilli (with herb infused parmesan cream, roasted mixed mushrooms and sourdough crumbs). Don’t worry if you have specific running needs, both dishes can be made with marinara, butter or EVOO sauces and you can add proteins (like rustic meatballs) for an additional fee. With a belly full of pasta, you’ll be prepped and ready to walk, jog or run for miles (26.2 to be exact).
