Need a little something to look forward to? Here you go: Chef Jason Santos is opening a new spot on the North Shore this summer. The blue-haired chef and cookbook author, who’s already got a trio of Boston restaurants (Abby Lane, Buttermilk & Bourbon and Citrus & Salt), has set his sights on Marblehead with his new venture, B&B Fish.
He’s collaborating with Jeff DeCandia, the longtime chef at Buttermilk & Bourbon, on the new menu which will feature classic New England seafood with a dash of Southern charm (think: fish & chips, fried shrimp, duck fat fried whole belly clams and Buttermilk & Bourbon’s famous fried chicken). Sides will be a big thing with plenty of biscuits, street corn, chowder and fried pickles and sweets, too with lots of beignets, soft serve cones and innovative ice cream sundaes.
Located at 195 Pleasant Street, the restaurant will be open daily for both lunch and dinner with seating inside for twenty and a big patio that can accommodate as many as thirty. Stay tuned for updates as the opening approaches and keep an eye on Santos’ website and B&B’s Insta for additional info.
