The James Beard Foundation is the tastemaker of the nation’s tastemakers, and they recently honored local chef Jody Adams by adding her name to their “Who’s Who” list. She’s taking the month of May to celebrate and give back at Trade downtown with a special dish, and donating a portion of the proceeds to the James Beard Foundation Women in Culinary Leadership Program. If you think that’s a mouthful, check out the meal: grilled lamb chops served with thyme-roasted potatoes, mustard glazed carrots, and turnips finished with rosemary and a honey yogurt. The rest of the menu will of course be available to round out your meal, so come toast your tastebuds and celebrate chef Adams’ induction with a little good karma to boot. More info here.
