Masa’s suburban outpost gets a revamp as Masa Taqueria and Tequila Bar. The former Southwestern Grill in Woburn has refocused its menu with Latin-inspired entrees and a full library of tequila options. Owners El Zein and Michael Aviles have added items like chorizo and cranberry salsa, crispy fish and garlic aioli tacos, customizable “Fiesta” bowls and a weekly changing enchilada special—all at an approachable price. On the beverage side, Masa will be offering craft cocktails, margaritas, beers and wines to complement the menu’s Latin leanings, as well as tequila flights and red sangria by the glass or pitcher. Lunch hours are Thursday through Friday, 11:30-4:30pm and there will be weekend brunch Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am-3:00pm.
