Top Chef Masters Taps Some New England Talent

Following in the footsteps of Boston-based chefs like Michael Schlow, Ana Sortun and Jody Adams, chef Patricia Yeo will be making an appearance on Top Chef Masters. The show, now in its fourth season, pits accomplished, award-winning chefs from across the country against one another for charitable organizations of the chefs’ choice. Yeo, of long-time Cambridge fave OM and newcomer Moksa, will be hoping to earn some cash for Heifer Project International, a nonprofit that donates livestock to those in need as a way to eliminate poverty and hunger in a sustainable fashion. This season of the popular Bravo show, which starts on Wednesday, July 25th, also features New England cookers Mark Gaier and Clark Frasier of Arrows and MC Perkins Cove, both in Ogunquit, Maine and Summer Winter in Burlington, Massachusetts. Clark and Gaier, who collectively took home the Beard Award for Best Chef Northeast in 2010, will, by the looks of it, be competing against each other. Peruse the full list of participants and start deciding who to root for. Good luck to the local(ish) contestants and may the best chef win!
