Parisian Pop Up Café

Tremont Street transforms into the Champs-Elysées on Thursday, August 2nd with a little (ok, a lot) of help from The Beehive. A lunchtime patio pop-up — Café for a Day — is taking over the outdoor space and paying tribute to the restaurant’s French roots (the idea of the eatery was inspired by an artist’s residence in the Montparnasse district of Paris). The South End spot is teaming up with the folks from Brookline’s Clear Flour Bakery and Archer Roose Wines to offer a mix of rustic baguette sandwiches, fresh salads, dessert and beverage pairings. Grab a la carte items to-go, or sit down to a three-course prix fixe menu from Executive Chef James Lyons. Reservations are highly recommended — call 617.423.0069 to make yours.
