Swing by Sweet Cheeks Q on Monday, February 26th as they transform from a bumpin’ BBQ spot to a Japanese joint for another one of their popular Ramen Nights. Get your fill of noodles in Fenway from chef-owner Tiffani Faison (she was just named one of the semi-finalists for this year’s James Beard Awards!) and Executive Chef Dan Raia. Beginning at 5:30pm, they’re making smoked pork tonkasu ramen topped with a 5-minute egg, hon shimeji mushrooms, smoked soy glazed pork belly, scallions, charred napa cabbage, and black garlic-chile oil for $15. If you’re not big on ramen but still want your fix of Asian cuisine, order either of their special appetizers: shishito peppers with lemon and sesame for $7 or pulled pork and garlic chive dumplings with spice rub soy sauce for $9. Both come with complimentary shrimp chips for the table. Call 617.266.1300 with questions.
