In the mood for a little modern Malaysian? Make for Branch Line on Sunday, January 21st for a night with the Sekali team. Chef Derrick Teh and his stellar collection of cooks are taking over the kitchen at the Watertown rotisserie for the next stop on their winter pop-up tour, and the menu is looking pretty fabulous.

Take a peek below to get hungry for a Lemongrass Mortadella Dog with papaya salad, Sekali gold bbq sauce and martin’s potato bun; and naturally there’ll be a half-chicken option (it’s still Branch Line, after all) with ayam panggang berempah with nasi lemak, served with coconut blue pea flower rice, braised anchovy and chickpea sambal, toasted peanuts, cucumber, boiled egg. When you get thirsty, the bar squad will help you out with one of their on-point cocktails like a Red Hook (rye, maraschino, punt e mes) or they’ll be happy to pour up a pint of something like Punch Bowl sour ale from Dorchester Brewing.
