Reggae Brunch at Toro

Toro Instagram

A new music-inspired series hits Toro starting on Sunday, September 30th with the launch of Reggae Brunch. From 10:30am through 2:30pm, Executive Chef Josh Elliott — along with chef-owners Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette — will be firing up island-inspired dishes, priced a la carte, that include Jamaican staples like curried goat, oxtail and plantains. For those not feeling the island vibes, you’ll still be able to order off of Toro’s signature brunch menu. No RSVP necessary — just head over to the South End to enjoy the tastes and sounds (courtesy of DJ Bissonnette!) of the island nation right here in Boston. Peep details on the menu below, and call 617.536.4300 with any questions.

Can’t make it this time? The series continues through December on the last Sunday of each month with the following themes: “Thriller Brunch” featuring 80’s Favorites in October, “We Will Brunch You” featuring Queen in November and “Brunch Like It’s 1999” featuring Prince in December.
