Ramato Wine Dinner at Forage

Forlorn Hope Wines

If you’re interested in esoteric and old-timey winemaking techniques, the crew at Forage has a dinner planned that you won’t want to miss. On Tuesday, August 16th, they’ll be highlighting Ramato wines, which are kind of like modern-day orange wines but made with Pinot Grigio grapes by way of a historical winemaking style from Friuli, Italy.

Chef Eric Cooper has created a four-course menu filled with super seasonal ingredients to show off four expressions of Ramato wines from around the globe, and wine guru Stan Hilbert will be on hand to discuss all the details of the age-old wine style as you dig into pairings like Cantaloupe Soup made with Snow Leopard melon, paired with 2021 “Dragone Ramato,” Forlorn Hope, Sierra Foothills, CA. Choose an omnivore or vegetarian menu (preview below) and make your reservations here for the dining room or the patio between 5:00 and 8:45pm for $95 per person, or get your feast to go for $160 for two people here. Call ahead with any questions at 617.576.5444 and get ready for a night of really remarkable wines.
