If you’re looking for a place to take it easy before The Eagles take over TD Garden on Monday, September 11th and Wednesday, September 13th, head to the Tip Tap Room in Beacon Hill for a tequila sunrise or two with chef Brian Poe and the gang. You can check in to Poe-tel California starting at 3:00pm on concert nights and live life in the fast lane up until the doors open at TD at 7:30pm with a slew of Eagles (and Steely Dan) themed dishes and drinks. Groove along to a soundtrack of the iconic band’s seven studio albums while you sample ‘One of these Flights,’ featuring 3 new beers on the Tip Tap craft beer menu board (available only at the bar). There’ll also be a ‘Bake it Easy’ Strawberry Shortcake made with fresh local berries, a house made biscuit & whipped cream, vanilla ice cream and strawberry puree, and if you’re feeling more on the Steely side you can snack on some Pretzel Logic and Gauchos, or pick something from the ‘Reeling in the Beers’ list at the bar. Grab a reservation here to take it to the limit, and you can check out any time you like (and head off to the show), but Poe-tel California closes at 10pm on both nights, so then you do have to leave.
