Pagu’s Next Roundtable

Mark your calendar for Sunday, July 23rd for the next Roundtable sesh at PAGU. Chef Tracy Chang is welcoming Emmanuel Mervil from Everybody Gotta Eat for an afternoon (12:00 to 4:00pm) of BBQ, beats, drinks, and discussion, which will benefit the culinary pilot program in collaboration with the Moses Youth Center (MYC). Mervil’s project offers catering, organizes food festivals, and provides free meals to the community, which dovetails nicely with MYC’s mission to foster the development of good-decision making and leadership skills as well as lifelong learning in self-care, social responsibility and the importance of community. Their culinary pilot program will focus on the development of kitchen acumen, understanding how to manage a budget when grocery shopping, and providing exposure to job opportunities in the food industry. You can join in the discussion by snagging a seat here for $35, which includes all your food (passed appetizers and a big plate of ‘que). If you want to learn more about MYC check out their website, and give PAGU a call at 617.945.9290 if you have any Qs about the event.
