MRU’s Next Sobremesa Table Talk

Sign yourself up for the MRU’s next Sobremesa Table Talk, coming up on Monday, February 22nd, for the second half of the All things Take Out convo. Starting at 2:30pm, a trio of industry pros will tackle the topic from the beverage and retail side of things. Owner Tom Schlesinger of Alcove in the West End, Emma Hollander of Trina’s Starlite Lounge & Parlor Sports in Cambridge and TJ Douglas of the South End’s Urban Grape will all be on the Zoom call to talk about the different pivots they’ve made during the pandemic – what’s worked, what hasn’t and what else they’re working on. The online gab fest is free – just register ahead of time online here to hear what they have to say. There’ll be time at the end for a Q&A session, too if there are specific things you’d like to know about their experiences.

Sobremesa, an on-going series from Mass Restaurants United, provides a forum for the restaurant community to share resources and make connections. Named after the Spanish tradition of relaxing at the table after a meal, recent installments of the virtual gatherings have covered topics like Hibernation and the first part of the All Things Take-Out, which focused on the food and operations angle.

Check ‘em out and sign up for Monday’s chat, watch recordings of previous Sobremesas or sign up to get notifications about other upcoming dates on the MRU website online here.
