Seafood lovers, make a beginning-of-the-week beeline for B&G Oysters in the South End for a special clambake menu, available every Monday throughout September. The special prix fixe, which costs $110 for two, starts with clam chowder, followed by a feast of lobster, clams, mussels, potatoes, corn and linguica and chocolate mousse for dessert. You can augment as you see fit with extras from the regular a la carte menu (oysters, anyone?) or add on something from the wine list (maybe the 2021 Kistler Chardonnay?) to complete your urban clambake.
