Matsutakes, maitakes, and chanterelles, oh my! If you’ve got mushrooms on your mind this season you won’t want to miss a special Mushroom Dinner at Viale on Tuesday, October 24th. Tyler Akabane of The Mushroom Shop in Somerville is teaming up with chefs Greg Reeves and Joe Cooke for a spore-tacular supper of foraged goodies for just $75 per person, including eats like Scallop Crudo with Matsutake and Seaweed; and Rotolo with Maitake, Stracciatella and Cured Egg Yolk (take a peek at the menu below). Drinks maven Shauna Reyburn has some special sips queued up for the occasion ($30 extra for the bevvie pairing), and all you need to do to get in on the fun is grab a ticket here and head to Central Square in Cambridge for a 6:00pm start.
