Get out of town and get to Provincetown for Women’s Week on Saturday, October 15th to join chef and restaurateur Tiffani Faison at Lickety Split, an ice cream and cocktail social at balena at the Crown & Anchor. Who better to host an afternoon celebrating female chefs than the founder of Big Heart Hospitality, the eats empire that includes Sweet Cheeks Q, Tenderoni’s Pizza, Divebar, Bubble Bath and Fool’s Errand. You’ll get a chance to meet Faison, who has been nominated multiple times for the James Beard Award for Best Chef: Northeast, has competed on Food Network’s Top Chef and Top Chef All-Stars, and has served as a judge on multiple food competition shows, including Chopped and Fire Masters.
P-Town locals Lewis Brothers will have their solar-powered, eco-friendly ice cream truck in the courtyard cranking out gourmet sundaes, and you can pair your scoops with whiskey and tequila cocktails from Proximo Spirits, plus snack on savory bites from balena’s own chef Raina Stefani. Tickets are $45 (grab ’em here) and include the meet and greet with Faison, the food, and your first cocktail. Your sundae will be a little extra sweet as proceeds from the event will go towards the Provincetown Business Guild, which supports economic and cultural development LGBTQ+ tourism in Provincetown.
