This year’s Les Dames d’Escoffier Scholarship & Awards Dinner will be held at Faneuil Hall’s Rustic Kitchen on Monday, May 3rd. Chef Bill Bradley and pastry chef Heather Macdonald will create a special menu for the prestigious event, which was founded in 1959 as a means of promoting the understanding, appreciation and knowledge of food, wine, and the arts of the table. Each year’s dinner features a prominent female member of the culinary community who distributes scholarships. Past participants include Julia Child, Mary Ann Esposito and Lora Brody. This year’s event features guest speakers for Sheryl Julian and Julie Riven of The Boston Globe. Courtyard cocktails begin at 6:30pm, weather permitting. Tickets for the event cost $85 per person.
