Grab the ketchup, BBQ, ranch and aioli, and get ready for Kirkland Tap & Trotter’s third annual spud showdown. On Saturday, March 2nd, chef Tony Maws is challenging fellow culinary contenders to solve the age old mystery: who has the best fries around? Mike Pagliarini from Giulia and Benedetto, Marc Sheehan from Loyal Nine and Kevin O’Donnell & Michael Lombardi from SRV will all be offering up their top frites from 1:00 to 3:00pm, serving just-waiting-to-be-dipped finger chips to raise money for Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry program. You can try each chef’s creation and help crown a People’s Choice winner — tickets are $25 each (kids 12 & under are free) and include the all-you-can-eat, served-hot-and-crispy snackers, plenty of dipping sauces and two drinks.
