Some like it hot, but if you like it even hotter than hot head to Assembly Row on Monday, November 13th for The Smoke Shop‘s first-ever Hotter Than Hell Night. Chef and pitmaster Andy Husbands and the team will be serving up a tapas-style dinner at 6:00 and 8:00pm that promises to push the limits of your spice tolerance, and it’s all for a good cause.

Do what you have to do to prime your taste buds for a night of plates like 5 Alarm Texas Chili, Texas Beef Ribs with jalapeño-cream cheese grits, Smoked Wings of Mass Destruction tossed in agave and pit spices and East Coast Grill’s Pasta from Hell – no tongue will be spared. East Coast Grill, by the way, is where Husbands cut his teeth in the early ’90s, and where he and the legendary Chris Schlesinger first served up Hell Nights. In the ’20s-era revival, you’ll start out with some slightly hot Creole Popcorn amuse bouche before working your way through an ever-hotter series of eats — just like “Hot Ones”! If things get too hot, don’t worry, there’ll be Tranquillo cocktails to cool you down, plus of course The Smoke Shop’s extensive collection of whiskeys and bourbons.

Grab a spot for either seating here for $75; $50 from each ticket will go toward Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, which works to end childhood hunger by helping launch and improve programs that give all kids the healthy food they need to thrive. Each ticket will include the amuse bouche, your choice of four tapas plates, a dessert (also spicy!) and a welcome cocktail, plus you can add extra food and drinks a la carte. And speaking of kids, you must be 18 or older to buy a ticket for the spicy smorgasbord — no exceptions.
