If you’ve been dying to break out a cute hat and scarf for some cozy photos for your feed, head to Buttermilk & Bourbon on Thursday, November 9th from 6:00 to 9:00pm for a Hot Cocoa Social. Chef Jason Santos’ NOLA-themed eatery will be unveiling this year’s special winter cocktail menu and you can celebrate the chill in the air (and your glass) with a boozy build-your-own hot cocoa bar featuring spirits from Long Branch Bourbon including garnishes galore. It’s the perfect excuse to do a little early holiday shopping at Arsenal Yards and if you’re lucky you might also even win the raffle for a pair of Bruins tickets. Entry to the party is free but they do request that you register here so they know how many people are coming. If you get too chilly there will be Long Branch blankets (plus other swag), and the regular B&B food menu will be available a la carte if you’d like a little nosh with your hot bevvies.

If you can’t make it to the party, fear not because after the 9th the hot cocoa bar will be available at both locations (check out their original spot in the Back Bay), and there will be rotating cocktail specials all season in addition to the holiday menu (check them out below). “Mexican” spiced with Espolon tequila, whipped cream, cocoa powder garnish

Peppermint patty, Sky vodka and peppermint schnapps, large toasted marshmallow garnished with candy cane
