South Enders can shake off the work vibes every day from 5:00 to 6:00pm with half-price appetizers at the bar and there’s surely nothing a plate of Chipotle Queso Dip and round of Cucumber Margaritas can’t cure. And over in Washington Square, Brookliners can get in on the action as well every Sunday through Thursday with half-price apps and $5 tacos at the bar, so you can hop off the Green Line and do a little taco mix and match with Birria, Carne Asada, Crispy “Baja Style” Fish and more, which you can wash down with a Hibiscus Margarita (hibiscus infused tequila, St. Elder, lemon and lime) or perhaps a Sangria Roja (red wine, triple sec, strawberry, orange, pineapple, lemon) — or one of each, who knows . . . the night will still be young!

Seating at both bars is first-come, first-served so no reservations are needed, just maybe head out a couple minutes early from work to get a prime barstool.
