Snow Day Specials

You don’t have to spend your snow day hunkered down at home (especially if there’s not a lot of snow), venture out for food and drink specials at some of your favorite Boston spots. Take a peek at some of the offerings and start mapping out your route for Tuesday, February 13th. Give them a call (to be on the safe side) before you get all bundled up but get out there – there are delicious things to be had.

Bambara Kitchen & Bar
Make your way to Cambridge on Tuesday, February 13th for a two-for-one snow day deal on seasonal soups at Bambara Kitchen and Bar at Kimpton Marlowe Hotel. Chef Adam Resnick will be welcoming guests with warming wintry fare during lunch service (11:00am-1:00pm) so you can enjoy a hearty midday meal for a steal. Bar Enza
Cantabrigians can make a beeline for Bar Enza at The Charles Hotel for a cozy little snow day treat. Chef Tony Susi and Co. are serving up complimentary plates of biscotti with every entree purchased. The Lexington
Will Gilson’s Cambridge Crossing team will be welcoming diners with a snow day version of their Neighborhood Menu – a delightful three-course prix fixe which includes an appetizer, an entrée and a dessert for $50 per person. Lucie Drink + Dine
Lucie Drink + Dine at the Colonnade Hotel will be serving bottomless short rib poutine for just $5. Bundle up and make your way over to the Back Bay to warm up over heaping plates of french fries topped with rich short rib gravy, savory cheese curds and chives. Puritan & Co.
Chef-owner Will Gilson and the Puritan & Co. peeps will be running their special snow day prix fixe, rewarding diners who brave the elements with dishes like beet salad, steak frites au poivre and Teeling Whiskey ice cream with chai caramel and honeycomb – all for $45 per person. Rochambeau
The team at Rochambeau, the Back Bay’s go-to for French fare, will be serving up $1 oysters all day long whenever the snow falls. Get yourself over to Boylston Street (maybe take a stroll through the Pru to do a little snow day shopping) to partake. And if you really want to make a day of it, snag yourself a spot in the Steak Room to sit down to their three-course prix fixe (baguette, greens, steak and endless frites) for just $36 per person. Whenever the snow falls, chef Lydia Shire and the Scampo crew will be offering 1/2 off dessert with every entree purchased.
