Bring your mama to Mamaleh’s for a pre-Mother’s Day celebration on Thursday, May 4th. From 5:30-7:30pm, the Jewish deli in Kendall Square will be hosting a Halva Happy Hour with the team at Seed + Mill (a New York based company specializing in ​​artisanal halva, tahini and tahini soft serve). Each ticket is $10 and can be purchased here — they include a cocktail, cookies, treats and halva samples, plus a raffle entry to win a Mamaleh’s x Seed + Mill gift bag. The happy hour also includes a conversation with Rachel Simons, CEO and founder of Seed + Mill, about how to build a sweet ‘charcuterie’ board. There’ll be plenty of time for questions, so you can leave with lots of new halva knowledge and a gift for a mom in your life.
