Forage Takes On Tuscany

The Tuscans have been doing natural wine way before it was cool (think: the Renaissance), and you can channel your inner Michelangelo at this week’s wine dinner at Forage on Tuesday, August 29th. Let wine guru Stan Hilbert take you on a tasting adventure through Italy’s sixth largest wine-producing region with four pours that span from Tyrrhenian coastline inland toward the Apennine Mountains. Chef Eric Cooper has four perfectly-paired courses planned, including Chamomile Cured Arctic Char with Confit Garlic Puree, Cucumber and Charcoal Salt paired with 2022 Trebbiano “La Cerretina,” Pacina; and Beef Sugo with Fried Polenta, Carrot & Celery Salad, Asparagus Vinegar paired with 2022 Alicante… “Un Litro,” Ampeleia. Take a peek at the full menu below and snag a reservation here to dine indoors or enjoy a late summer evening on the patio; dinner costs $110 per person. If you prefer your own backyard or a picnic blanket you can also order your dinner to go for two for $160, which includes all your wines.
