Farm to Kitchen Cooking in Lincoln

Codman Community Farms

Learn to cook with the freshest farm-grown ingredients at Codman Community Farms this summer with Mamaleh’s co-founder and pastry chef Rachel Sundet. The working farmstead in Lincoln will welcome Sundet on Thursday, August 4th and Thursday, August 18th for their Cooking at the Farm series.

The first class is Sweet & Savory Rugelach, which are versatile baked treats made with fruits and veggies from the farm, plus you’ll learn how to get creative with variations and seasonal ingredients. Next will be Perfect Latkes & Dips, which will use Codman’s homegrown potatoes and herbs to make creamy, crispy pancakes for appetizers or a meal.

Sign up for one or both classes here; each session is $85 and runs from 5:00 to 7:00pm. You’ll make plenty of goodies to sample and bring home, plus there will be some extra noshes to make it feel like dinner — BYOB is recommended.

Codman Community Farms is a non-profit agricultural center that was established in 1973 on the former estate of Chambers Russell, one of Lincoln’s founders. For more on the farm and their produce and proteins check out their farm store, and follow them on Facebook or Instagram for upcoming events.
