Some of the city’s most noted and notorious menfolk don aprons and cook their hearts out at the Men of Boston Cook for Women’s Health. Scheduled for Thursday, September 23rd the event, which runs from 6:00 to 9:00pm, allows philanthropically-minded epicureans to mix and mingle with Boston’s culinary elite (well, the male contingent at least) while sampling some tasty treats from Amelia’s Trattoria, Ashmont Grill, Beacon Hill Bistro, Eastern Standard, The Fireplace, Gourmet Caterers, Market by Jean-Georges, Taranta and Tavolo. For every ticket purchased, the cost of which is $150, $100 will be donated to funding women’s health initiatives such as the Fruit and Veggie Prescription Program – purchase yours through their website.
