Bistro du Midi is taking a field-trip to Italy for truffle season. Executive Chef Robert Sisca has gathered an armload of elusive, elegant white truffles, and on Wednesday, November 20th, he’s going to make them rain on your whole dinner. From 6:00 to 9:00pm, treat yourself to an exquisite dinner featuring a lineup of decadent ingredients from foie gras to saffron. Sommelier Chris Blanken has unearthed a quintet of rare wines to celebrate, starting with Grand Cuvée Champagne and including some very old, very rare Piemontese wines. Tickets for this extravagant evening are $375 per person, and just like truffles they’re extremely limited—don’t wait!
