A stellar Cabernet Sauvignon can radically change a meal, which is why the folks from Bar Boulud are inviting their friends Quilceda Creek Winery to the Back Bay for a memorable dinner. The family-owned Washington state producer is sending John Ware, Quilceda Creek Vice President and Estate General Manager, to spread the grape love in Boston on Wednesday, August 22nd. The vineyard has a sole focus, making kick-ass Cabs, so you can bet that their streamlined attention on a singular type of wine produces one heck of an awesome bottle. Find out for yourself with guidance from Bar Boulud’s Sommelier David Bérubé. He’ll walk you through the menu (see below) slowly so that you can savor each sip and bite to the fullest — there’s no rushing at this French bistro. Dinner is $175, and it’s inclusive of both tax and gratuity. To make a reservation, call 617.535.8800 or buy your ticket online.
