Take A Trip to Tuscany by Way of Bar Enza

LIANEM/SHUTTERSTOCK

Take a midweek tour of Tuscany without leaving Harvard Square at Bar Enza on Wednesday, June 15th. James Beard Award-winning chef Mark Ladner and his talented team have a four-course menu all mapped out with wine pairings so that you can globe trot from glass to glass right at your table in this swanky spot inside the Charles Hotel in Cambridge. Bar Enza’s sommelier will talk you through the tasting notes of the tour, which includes a Vernaccia, a rosé of Sangiovese, a Brunello and, of course, a classic Chianti, while you tuck in to plates like Pasta Primavera, and Lamb Scottaditi or Monkfish. Tickets are $120, and you should reserve yours now because even though “enza” means giant in Italian, spots in the dining room and patio are limited and special events fill up fast. Get your tickets online here, dinner starts at 6:00pm; check out the full menu below.
