A Brazilian Festa

Party like a Brazilian at Oak Long Bar + Kitchen’s festa on Friday, August 31st. Unwind from the week on their patio right in the heart of Copley Square with an icy twist on the national drink of Brazil — frozen caipirinhas for $15 — along with bottled passion fruit and mango caipifrutas (a version of caipirinhas in which fruit is swapped in instead of lime) for $12 and watermelon cachaça freeze pops for $7. You’ll be rewarded for your drinking (shouldn’t this always be a thing?!) with a raffle ticket if you buy a patio beverage, although the limit is 1 ticket per person. The grand prize is pretty epic: a chef and bartender will come to your home to give you and a friend a private lesson on how to whip up the ultimate Brazilian feast. Bacardi is sponsoring the event, so you can expect plenty of swag and other giveaways throughout the evening plus a how-low-can-you-go game of limbo. Tickets aren’t required, just swing by between 4:00 and 8:00pm, but if you’re curious who else might be going, check out the Facebook invite here.
