Mick Dundee Challenge IV

Boston’s one and only meat pie showdown returns to the East Boston Shipyard on Sunday, April 27th when KO Pies hosts the fourth Mick Dundee Challenge. With all three former pie champs in attendance plus talent from more than a dozen notable kitchens including Neptune Oyster, Tavolo, Ribelle, Saus, Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, Pennypacker’s, Lincoln Tavern, Coppa, The Salty Pig, Temple Bar and of course, KO Pies, the Challenge will be a day full of magical creations from some of Boston’s best. Tickets for the event are $53.74 (including processing fees) and they’re available online. Each one will get five people in the door, so you can roll in with some friends and take the tables by storm. This time around, pies will be served at stations, so you don’t have to worry about getting there right at 3:00pm when the event starts (though you’ll want to get there before 6:00pm, when it wraps up). Grab a few friends and head down to the Shipyard, 256 Marginal Street, and get your fair share of flaky crust and hearty fillings. Additional questions can be directed to info@kocateringandpies.com.
