Ming Enters the Ramen Ring

Rejoice, fans of ramen, chef-owner Ming Tsai is launching a series of Sunday Night Specials in the lounge at Blue Ginger – and he’s starting with ramen. Wrap up the weekend with a create-your-own bowl for just $13. Each one comes with jicama, gai lan, pickled lotus and a boiled egg but can be customized with a variety of broths (regular miso, spicy kimchee or Szechwan ma-la) and toppings (sliced and ground pork, chicken or beef, baby shrimp or wild mushrooms). Reservations aren’t required in the lounge so pop in on a lazy Sunday evening when you don’t feel like cooking (they’ll even package it up so you can enjoy it at home).
