Get one last taste of Hungry Mother at the former restaurant’s tag sale cocktail party on Sunday, August 23^rd. From 3:00-8:00pm, guests can stop by for snacks and drinks and purchase souvenirs from the team behind Hungry Mother and State Park. Original artwork by owner John Kessen and bartender Duane Gorey will be available, as well as dishes, cast iron pans and baskets—plus bigger ticket items like the Hungry Mother sign, the host stand and the bar light fixtures. The team has plans for a new restaurant concept on Cardinal Medeiros Ave but don’t miss the opportunity to hang on to the beloved Mother with some memorabilia.
