This may be Beantown, but for two glorious days in July Boston will become Pie-Town when the first Boston Pizza Festival comes to City Hall Plaza. Saturday, July 8th and Sunday, July 9th will see some of the best local and international pizza makers convene in one spot where event goers will be able to sample pies from over 20 vendors including Charcoal Guidos, Antico Forno, Bricco, Lincoln Tavern & Restaurant, Rina’s Pizzeria & Café, Babbo Pizzeria, Serafina, Wicked Cheesy and Oath Craft Pizza. Along with all the great slices (calzones, stay home!), guests can party down with live music, beer and wine for this all-ages event. And lest you think these pies will be sitting under a heat lamp all day, Marra Forni will be supplying 30 handcrafted pizza ovens for the event. Tickets cost $15 and can be purchased here.
