Barbecue is hard. It takes practice, energy and hours spent standing over a fire to get it just right. Eating barbecue, on the other hand, is easy. On Friday, July 14th and Saturday, July 15th, skip to the easy part at the Boston Beer & BBQ Fest at the Cyclorama on Tremont Street, where some of Massachusetts’ finest ‘cue crews will be filling the room with the delicious aroma of smoked meat. $55 gets you in the door for free samples from each of the seven BBQ vendors on site (Bison County, Firebox BBQ, M&M BBQ, Mill City BBQ, The Porch, Shed’s BBQ and The Smoke Shop), as well as unlimited 2oz. samples of more than 80 craft beers and ciders on offer from some of New England’s favorite brew houses. If you’re still hungry, feel free to purchase larger portions from any of the pit-masters (side dishes are important, too). So put on something with an elastic waist and grab your tickets online here for any (or all) of the three sessions: Friday night from 6:00-9:30pm, Saturday afternoon from 1:00-4:30pm and Saturday night from 6:00-9:30pm.
