You don’t have to wait for dinner to get your hands around one of Hojoko‘s Wagyu Cheeseburgers anymore, because everyone’s favorite Fenway-area rock-and-roll Japanese tavern is now open for lunch seven days a week starting at 11:30am. The sizable menu features some of the lively izakaya’s greatest hits like baskets of Karaage Fried Chicken (3- or 7-piece baskets), Shrimp Toast, Crispy Nori Tacos, and of course the mighty Dogzilla, which is a bacon-wrapped smoky hot dog with pickled jalapeño, American cheese, kabayaki and bonito flakes.

There’s also lots to choose from the sushi and sashimi list, or fill up on a bowl like the Torched Sashimi Bento Bowl (torched tuna, hamachi, salmon, spicy mayo, green onion, gari ginger, avocado, cucumber, iwa nori). It’s also impossible to get out of Hojoko without at least one drink like the 5, 6, 7, 8 made with Skyy vodka, Violette, lemon, egg white and mango foam exotic floral, which seems totally lunchable.
