Rosé All Day at The Inn at Hastings Park

Inn at Hastings Park

Rosé season is upon us! And the serene, boutique getaway in historic Lexington, MA is ready for it. Be sure to plan an outing to The Inn at Hastings Park, where they’ll be reopening their blissful Culinary Garden featuring Whispering Angel. Cordon Bleu educated Trisha Pérez Kennealy (owner and culinary educator at The Inn at Hastings Park) has partnered with the acclaimed Provençal rosé producer, Chateau d’Esclans, for an unforgettable al fresco experience.

The Culinary Garden will offer private dining for up to six people in a beautiful space decked out with precious floral arrangements and nestled just a stone’s throw from the restored barn. Open from May 1st to October 2021, they’ll have tables available exclusively by reservation for a seasonal three course prix-fixe dinner, weekday lunch à la carte from the Town Meeting Bistro menu, and a weekend brunch menu featuring an array of elevated classics.

Centered around Whispering Angel rosé, the prix-fixe dinner menu features a different rosé pairing with each course. Try the refreshing watermelon gazpacho with mint crème fraiche served with 2019 The Palm, by Whispering Angel, and you won’t leave disappointed. Then once you’ve chosen one of two entrée dishes, crispy duck or summer vegetable linguini, prepare to be delighted by a vanilla bean panna cotta with rose poached rhubarb and a second glass of whichever rosé of the evening you preferred. The prix-fixe dinner is $75 per person with an $100 reservation fee, and an optional $50 rosé pairing for those who’d like the complete Whispering Angel experience.

But don’t fret! If you can’t make it out for dinner, or are looking for a slightly less expensive culinary journey, the Culinary Garden offers an à la carte lunch menu, with a $50 reservation fee for the private dining table, and the weekend brunch, featuring fresh pastries, seasonal eggs benedict and buttermilk pancakes, among many others, is a bit more suited to the young-person’s pocket, priced at $50 per person ($60 including sparkling wine), again available with the $100 table fee.

Wishing for a more hands-on culinary adventure? The Culinary Garden provides the ideal opportunity with their private cooking classes, also held in the garden. Taught by Kennealy herself, you’ll have the opportunity to learn the best tips and tricks to elevate your kitchen game with classes on everything from broth basics, to seafood perfection (featuring grilled salmon and tuna poke) and how to craft steak dinner in 30 minutes. Each class is available to reserve on their website for $40 per person, glass of Whispering Angel rosé included!

For more information on any of the above, call the Inn at Hastings Park at 781.301.6655 or make a reservation on their website.
