Meet the PBF&J – A Delicious Fundraising Treat

Bambara Kitchen & Bar

Bambara Kitchen & Bar’s Executive Chef David Bazirgan has rolled out a sophisticated new dessert that pays homage to two childhood faves: the PBF&J — and it’s for a good cause, too! Proceeds of this elegant dessert (a nod to both PB&Js and Fluffernutters) will go to No Kid Hungry, a national anti-hunger organization that organizes Chefs Cycle.

Bazirgan created this delicious treat as a fundraiser, for his 2nd race this summer in his quest to help end childhood hunger. For the past five years, Chefs Cycle has engaged culinary talents who want to push their limits by completing a three-day, 300-mile ride while raising funds and awareness in support of No Kid Hungry. Bazirgan joins the upcoming summer 2020 ride taking place June 23-25 in Bend, Oregon while helping to raise $2 million, which translates into 20 million meals for kids facing hunger.

The special PBF&J dessert will be available on the Bambara menu through June 2020 so you have plenty of time to try it (again and again) just make a reservation online here. In the meantime, you can read up on Chefs Cycle and check out Bazirgan’s fundraising page.
