Downton Abbey-Inspired Sips

Hey Downton Abbey fans, just because the beloved PBS series ended back in 2015 doesn’t mean you have to go without a bit of British drama in your life. Downton Abbey: The Exhibition is in town at The Castle at Park Plaza through September 29, 2019, showcasing set pieces and costumes from the show. Nearby OAK Long Bar + Kitchen is celebrating the display with a newly debuted brunch cocktail called “Pinkies Up,” which you can snag on Saturdays & Sundays between 11:00am to 3:00pm as long as the exhibit is still in the city. The cocktail costs $15 and includes green tea infused Roku Gin, lilet blanc and wild strawberry liqueur.

“We of course wanted to create a tea-themed cocktail to tie back to the series and post-Edwardian time period,” said Daniel Loperfido, General Manager at OAK, in a press release. “The green tea we infuse the gin with is also blended with lemongrass and spearmint, which adds an additional layer of complexity to the cocktail.

And don’t toss your tickets after the exhibit if you plan to stop into OAK Long Bar. Hang onto your same-day stub for 10% off your food order. Call 617.585.7222 with any questions, or book a table online.
