UNI’s New Nigiri Omakase

The Omakase is the OG chef’s tasting menu, and at UNI, Chef Tony Messina is so excited about nigiri that he’s offering two. Each of UNI’s new Nigiri Omakase options features 10 pieces of handmade nigiri served on one plate. The “Chef’s Selection” plays the hits, featuring tried-and-true garnishes like soy sauce and wasabi, available for $58. The “Tsukiji Market Selection,” for $90, gets a little funky, offering a rotating cast of rare and high-end ingredients like fatty tuna, Japanese A5 Wagyu beef, and fish sourced straight from Tokyo’s famous Tsukiji Fish Market.
