Belly up and grab a bite at Bondir Concord, where chef Jason Bond debuts his new bar menu this month. Fancy riffs on classic bar snacks include popcorn tossed with bonito and spiced nacho powder as well as crispy fried beans and hominy, a playful nod to corn nuts. Heartier fare is available, too—try the slowly smoked and pulled beef shank on a corn flour roll or order something off the full dinner menu (everything’s fair game at the bar).  But remember to leave room for the Black Cow chocolate mousse, sweetened with Bondir’s house-made root beer syrup.
