Branch Line

Branch Line has opened in the Watertown Aresenal. The new restaurant from Eastern Standard owner Garrett Harker and general manager Andrew Holden brings rotisserie eats to the bustling suburb. The highlight of the dining room—which features high ceilings and floor-length windows—is the French Rotisol rotisserie, responsible for the stars of chef de cuisine Stephen Oxaal’s menu. From the open kitchen along the back wall, Oxaal, most  recently of B&G Oysters, serves up slow-roasted meats and spit-cooked vegetables, complemented by the beverage list of obscure beers and coastal European wines. Dinner hours are Monday through Thursday, 4:00-10:00pm, and Friday through Saturday, 4:00-11:00pm. Branch Line boasts an all-season terrace with a bocce court and perennial garden, so branch out of the city to see what’s on offer. Call 617.420.1900 for a table.
