15th Annual Boston Wine Expo

The Boston Wine Expo, the largest consumer wine event in the country, celebrates its 15th year on Saturday and Sunday, January 28th and 29th at the Seaport World Trade Center. All levels of wine drinkers, from novices to aficionados, can stroll through the Grand Tasting, chatting with winemakers and purveyors, and sampling as many as 1800 wines from more than 440 wineries from across the globe. Guests can also catch glimpses of their favorite area chefs at the Celebrity Chef Stages where they’ll be walking guests through how to make some of their signature dishes. On Saturday, look for celebrated chefs like Todd English of Olives, Michael Schlow of Radius, Via Matta and Great Bay, Eric Brennan of Excelsior and Daniel Bruce of Meritage, among others. On Sunday, keep your eyes peeled for Kevin Long of Tosca, Jay Murray of Grill 23 & Bar, Kevin Crawley of Coriander Bistro, Keith Pooler of Harvest, Christophe Marquant of Aura at the Seaport and Jeffrey Fournier of The Metropolitan Club. Tickets for the Grand Tasting cost $70 per person per day (though you can get a two-day pass for $95 per person) and can be purchased through the Boston Wine Expo website, or by calling 877.946.3976.
