Aujourd’hui continues their Epicurean Evenings throughout the month of May – they’re also adding some top-notch wine dinners to their spring schedule. Every Tuesday, sommelier Ted Davidson pulls from his 450 label library to highlight some of Aujourd’hui’s best wines. Guests can enjoy three light courses from chef de cuisine Jérôme Legras built around a theme, region or grape variety for $45 per person, not including tax and gratuity. In addition to the Epicurean Evenings, Aujourd’hui will also be hosting two premiere labels for special dinners. Tuesday, May 3rd – Cakebread – Dennis Cakebread himself serves up Napa Valley’s finest with tastes of his Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Friday, May 6th – La Spinetta Wine Dinner – La Spinetta winemaker Giorgio Rivetti from Italy’s Piedmont region will be on hand to entertain and explain his award-winning wines as part of chef Jérôme Legras’ tasting menu. Dinner starts at 6:30pm and costs $125 per person not including tax or gratuity.
Tuesday, May 10th – That Which We Call a Rosé – Try some of the best Rosés from Champagne, Rhone Valley and Spain.
Tuesday, May 17th – Jean Trimbach Wine Dinner – The gregarious Jean Trimbach will be I town for an Alsatian wine dinner, featuring six Trimbach wines, including the rare Trimbach Pinot Noir, paired with five courses. Dinner starts at 6:30pm and costs $120 per person not including tax and gratuity.
