Rialto & blu Host The Wine Club

Wine directors Patrick Dubsky and Mark Goldberger, of Rialto and blu respectively, will be co-hosting a number of upcoming wine events ranging from casual afternoon tastings to multi-course dinners, in The Wine Club. The Wine Club includes a series of intimate dinners offering wine lovers a chance to sample some spectacular wines with some spectacular food from blu’s newly appointed chef Tom Fosnot and Rialto’s Jody Adams. The Dinners, which all start at 6:00pm, cost $125 per person including tax and gratuity. Head to blu on Tuesday, January 11th for Wines of Y2K; Rialto on Tuesday, February 8th for California Rhone Rangers; blu on Tuesday, March 8th for A Taste of Oregon; and back to Rialto on Tuesday, April 5th for Those Amazing Alsatians. In addition to the monthly dinners, there will be a series of casual, corresponding wine tastings that explore in detail, region by region, how the wine is made and harvested as well as how it should be tasted, served, ordered, bought and stored. The Region by Region Tastings start at 1:00pm at blu and cost $45 per person. Drop by blu on Saturday, January 22nd to take a closer look at Piedmont wines; on Saturday, February 26th for an exploration of wines from Santa Barbara; on Saturday, March 19th to get to know Williamette Valley wines; and on Saturday, April 16th for a study of Alsatian wines.
