A Toast to Women in Wine

The Butcher Shop

Get a little facetime with one of the brightest stars in the Châteauneuf-Du-Pape region of France’s Rhône Valley at The Butcher Shop on Thursday, March 30th. In honor of Women’s History Month, Laetitia Barrot of Domaine la Barroche will be visiting Barbara Lynch’s South End meaterie to lead you through a four-course menu paired with wines from her family’s storied estate, which dates back to the 1700s.

Grab your spot here for $160 (plus a small admin fee) and plan on making your way to Tremont Street around 5:30pm to enjoy springy dishes like Striped Bass with pea puree, asparagus and sorels, and Braised Chicken Thighs with potato mille feuille and crispy haricot vert (peep the full menu below). Domaine La Barroche is known for its old vines and sandy soils, and their blends from 13 grape varieties should not be missed! Keep an eye on TBS’s Instagram for updates on the wines, and follow the Domaine to check out very cool pics of some of the world’s oldest grapevines. If you have any Qs, give the restaurant a call at 617.423.4800 or drop them an email.
